Lead Pre-Inspection

The Lead Pre-Inspection consists of a visual examination of the exterior and interior of your property. Our written report helps the landlord/property owner assess what needs to be addressed regarding lead-based paint hazards. Our goal is to help you understand the process and take the next steps to pass the clearance examination to "get certified".

Lead Risk Assessment and Clearance for Certification

We perform a visual inspection of your property, collect dust wipe samples per the EPA, HUD, and Ohio Department of Health guidelines, submit them for laboratory testing, and generate reports for use in the Lead-Safe Clearance Certification process.

Lead Abatement

We can encapsulate, enclose, or fully remove lead-painted surfaces, to permanently eliminate lead-based paint hazards. Abatement may be ordered by a state or local government in response to a lead-poisoned child or other reason, or may be undertaken voluntarily at any time.

Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP)

We can perform interim control measures on properties to minimize lead hazards and support efforts to obtain the Lead-Safe Certification. RRP activities are designed to update, maintain, or modify all or part of a property if lead-based paint is identified during pre-renovation lead testing. Once the lead can no longer escape into the environment, the dwelling is ready for a lead clearance inspection.
